A Yazoo County man has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor.
Sheriff Jake Sheriff said a juvenile victim came forward to investigators with allegations that she was sexually assaulted.
Phillip Dunn, 35, was charged with gratification of lust.
Terry Gann, chief investigator with the Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department, said the victim was a 14-year-old girl.
“From our investigation, we found that Dunn had inappropriately touched her,” Gann said. “We are still investigating to make sure there are no other victims.”
Gann said Dunn had no criminal history of prior sexual assault charges.
