The Yazoo County Soil & Water Conservation District’s annual Tree Day will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the National Guard Armory on Gordon Avenue.
Hardwood and pine seedlings will be available at no cost. Trees available include cherry bark oak, bald cypress, sawtooth oak, live oak, nutall and loblolly pine.
Sawtooth Oak bundles of 15 will be for sale for $7 each.
Pre-ordered flowering trees will also be available for pickup.
