Appointments to eight city boards and other commissions were finalized by city leaders.
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen took nominations and finalized appointments to the Examining Board, the Historical Preservation Board, the Public Service Commission, the Yazoo City Housing Authority, the Parks and Recreation Commission, the Triangle Cultural Board, the Yazoo Port Commission and the Keep Yazoo City Beautiful Committee.
The following appointments include:
• Harvey Williams to the Examining Board
• Sharon McGee to the Historical Preservation Board
• Danny Neely to the Yazoo City Housing Authority
• Marcus Straughter to the Parks and Recreation Commission
• Debra Crook to the Public Service Commission
• Joe Henry Smith to the Triangle Cultural Board
• Van Ray to the Yazoo Port Commission
• Sharon Myers to the Keep Yazoo Beautiful Committee.
