A drivers license checkpoint within Yazoo City led to two arrests, with one removing a large amount of drugs off the street.
Corey Agee and Donald Jackson were both arrested last Friday at a checkpoint in Yazoo City.
Agee, of Belzoni, was charged with suspended drivers license, improper equipment, expired tag and felony possession of marijuana.
Chief Andre Lloyd said Agee’s bond was set at $20,000.
Jackson, who gave addresses in both Jackson and Dallas, was charged with DUI first offense, expired tag and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Lloyd said Jackson’s bond was set at $10,000 and the police department is currently waiting on the status of his probation.
