Two men are charged with a Monday night burglary at Shady Lane Apartments.
Edward Johnson, 30, and Patrick D’Arby Burns, 25, both are charged with burglary of a dwelling.
Burns is also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of stolen property.
Sheriff Jake Sheriff said that both suspects were quickly arrested after deputies investigated the scene of the crime.
Johnson and Burns remained in the Yazoo County Correctional Facility at press time. Bond was set at $40,000 for both suspects.

In other news, a 23-year-old Yazoo City man is charged with sexual battery in a case involving a 14-year-old.
Ollie Joe Tate was charged Wednesday.
Sheriff said Tate was being interviewed about related charges from another county when deputies uncovered evidence to charge him in Yazoo County as well.
Tate remained in the Yazoo County Correctional Facility at press time.
