Yazoo City native Danielle Cox Morgan is the new director of the Greenwood Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Morgan is a graduate of Manchester Academy and Delta State University, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with emphasis on Graphic Design. She has a broad range of experiences in advertising and public relations and has won multiple awards from professional associations for her work.
For the past ten years she was the Graphic Arts Coordinator for Mississippi Farm Bureau Federation, managing design and production of print communication as well as overseeing vendor accounts and budgets. Morgan was also responsible for developing new and inventive ways to communicate with the federation’s members through different channels including social media platforms.
For six years Morgan was the co-owner and operator of Kittrell’s on the Square, a restaurant in Lexington. During that time she served on the board of directors for Lexington Main Street.
