NATIONAL SUMMARY
A slow-moving storm system will continue to bring periods of
light rain to the mid-Atlantic and Northeast coasts
tomorrow, as moisture from the Atlantic Ocean streams into
the region. Farther west, a potent storm system will allow
rain and gusty winds to spread over portions of the Midwest,
with a line of thunderstorms more likely in the Southeast,
From Mississippi to Alabama and northward to Kentucky, some
of these storms may turn severe, with damaging winds being
the primary threat. In the Northwest, a storm system will
move in from the North Pacific, bringing steady and
occasionally heavy rain to the region, also causing a rapid
improvement in air quality. Mountain snow is also expected.
