_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm system will move onshore tomorrow, allowing
heavy rain to spread over much of the West Coast from Oregon
to Central California. The heaviest rain is likely in the
coastal mountain ranges just north of San Francisco, where
up to 4 inches of rain is likely. In the Sierras and
Siskiyou Mountains, snow levels will drop well below pass
levels, with very difficult travel and road closures likely
along interstates 5 and 80. Lighter rain is also possible
farther north into Washington, and southward into the Los
Angeles area. In the Southeast, rain and a few thunderstorms
will persist along the Gulf coast, with localized flooding
