Bradshaw named Catfish Farmer of the Year

Yazoo City’s very own Dan Bradshaw was selected as the 2018 Mississippi Catfish Farmer of the Year.
Roger Barlow, executive director of Catfish Farmers of America, said Brashaw was one of three farmers from three different states selected for this honor.

UK: Monkeypox cases rise to 1,735 with most cases in London

LONDON (AP) — British health officials say there have now been 1,735 confirmed cases of monkeypox and that three-quarters of those cases are in London, according to data released on Tuesday.

For many years, a number of structures at the end of Main Street have crumbled to her streets. But the problem continues as no clean-up efforts have begun in otherwise historic area.

Busted flat on Gordon Avenue...Convicted felon Bobby McGee charged with shooting crime

A convicted felon is back behind bars after being charged with shooting at someone with a stolen gun.
Chief Ronald Sampson said both suspects were quickly taken into custody and charged.
Bobby McGee, 21, was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a stolen weapon and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
