Man crashes into tree fleeing crime scene

A Jackson man led authorities on a short chase following a burglary at a Bentonia business, and he remains in a hospital after he crashed into a tree.
Courtney Jerome Sayles will be charged with business burglary and felony fleeing after he is released from a Jackson hospital.

Hazel Hancock

Hazel Louise Hancock, 100, of Yazoo City passed away Friday March 27, 2015. A member of First Baptist Church, she was retired from McRae’s Department Store as the Alterations Manager.

Survivors are her daughter Joycelle Smith McGinty of Yazoo City, 7 grandchildren,& 12 great grandchildren.
