The Yazoo County jail continues to receive bills for Yazoo City inmates being housed at facilities outside of the county. And county supervisors remind city leaders that they are not responsible for those bills based on the mutual agreement concerning the housing of inmates.

Panthers take 15-0 conference victory over Thomas Edwards

The Yazoo County Panthers needed just three innings to dispatch of the Thomas Edwards Tigers 15-0 Monday night.
The win upped the Panthers record to 10-8 overall and 6-0 in conference play. Yazoo County will secure the district title with a win Thursday over Amanda Elzy.
