Elizabeth Bernie McGinty, 70, died Feb. 27, 2021 at Community Place in Brandon.
Visitation will be Wednesday from noon-1 p.m. at Central Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at the Church with Rev. Scotty Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Scotland Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
Mrs. McGinty was born March 13, 1950 in Yazoo County to Early E. and Hattie Irene House Howell.
She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Earl McGinty Sr.; and a son, John Earl McGinty Jr.
Survivors include her sons, Chuck McGinty and Chad McGinty, both of Bentonia; a brother, Thomas Howell of Bentonia; sisters, Janie Howell and Linda Dozier of Bentonia and Joyce Kelly of Mandeville; and four grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Ryan Howell, Keith Dozier, Shane Prescott, Scott Howell, Lee Dozier and Hays Heidel.
