Manchester Academy earned a fourth straight win with an 11-0 shutout against rival Benton last week.
Brody Roberts earned the win for the Mavericks while allowing no hits over three innings. Jon Parker Dees also allowed no hits in one inning of relief.
Raiders starting pitcher Bryce Ables struck out two batters in the first inning, but Dees had a two-run single to put the Mavericks on the board in the second inning.
The Mavericks built on the lead in the third inning with RBI singles by Ty Walton, Dees and Dean Tyson.
Tyson went 3-for-4 on the night to lead the Mavericks from the plate.
Dees went 2-for-4 and had a team-high four RBI.
Walton had two hits on the night.
Jack Miller and Cole Estes each had an RBI.
Earlier in the week, Manchester defeated Indianola Academy 12-2.
Estes earned the win against IA with Garner Burton pitching two innings of relief. Burton struck out three batters with no walks and no hits.
Roberts, Dees, Grant Nixon and Burton each had three hits to lead MA at the plate.
Benton began the week with a 14-6 win over the Jackson Victors.
Waylon Dewitt had a solo home run over the left field wall in the win.
Ethan Shanks earned the win for the Raiders.
Ables and Wes Melton each had two his for Benton.
Dalton Robles had three RBIs.
