Academic and technical students with exemplary quality point averages are recognized at the end of the fall and spring semesters by being named to the President’s or Dean’s list at Holmes Community College.
To be eligible for such recognition a student must be enrolled in at least twelve semester hours.
To be placed on the President’s List, a student must have a grade point average of 3.7 to 4.0 while a Dean’s List student must have a grade point average of 3.4 to 3.69.
Local students on the President’s List includes William Neel, Caden Stevens, Hunter Appleton, Karmen Bernard, Elizabeth Carpenter, Faye Clark, Natalie Cochran, Rickel Donelson, Joseph Hanna, Sterling Johnson, Cooper Jones, Mary Martin and Khloe Moor, all of Yazoo City; Emily Price, Lindsay Cuba and Eddrick Southern, all of Vaughan; Kimberly Haralson, Kelli Manor and Hunter Turner, all of Benton; and Kaylee Everett, Aniya Frierson and Tyla Hyde, all of Bentonia.
Local students on the Dean’s List include Jasmine Brookins, John Harris and Aaron Pierce, all of Benton; Hayden Tyer of Bentonia; Valencia Smith and Alasia Carter, both of Vaughan; and Olivia Surrette, Nathan Wilson and Andrew Nelms, all of Yazoo City.
