The Yazoo County Lady Panthers started early and cruised to an eventual 27-point, 68-41, victory over the Crystal Springs Lady Tigers last week.
The Lady Panthers hosted the Gentry Lady Rams Tuesday night in their final game before taking their holiday break.
Leading scorers for Yazoo County were Khalee Harrison with 28 points and seven rebounds.
Kamillia Jones had an all-around game with 12 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Jakayla Washington and Jamariah Barton each scored nine points and Washington had 11 assists and four rebounds, while Barton grabbed seven boards.
Ankaysha Henderson had six points and seven rebounds, and London Love and Jayla Snow each scored two points with Snow grabbing six rebounds and Love four.
Yazoo County will play in the 2nd Annual Canton All-Girls Holiday Showcase on December 22 against Forest Hill at 5:30 p.m.
Also in action in the tournament will be the Yazoo City Lady Indians (who hosted Forest Hill last night) will be playing in both days of the Canton holiday tournament.
On Thursday, December 21, they will play Jim Hill at 7 p.m. and on Friday, December 22, they play Blue Mountain at 2:30 p.m.
