The Manchester Academy Mavericks finished fourth in the district tournament and traveled to Desoto Tuesday to battle Kemper Academy.
After defeating Deer Creek in the opening round, MA fell to Greenville Christian in the semifinals and to Porter’s Chapel in the consolation game by a score of 52-29.
Against PCA, Tobias McGee led the way with eight points, followed by Adam Edgar with six, Reed Roberts, Jon Parker Dees and Ben Choate with four apiece, and Brendan Thrasher with three.
Both Roberts and Dees were named to the All-Tournament team.
