Spring is in the air, and members of the Lintonia Garden Club enjoyed the beauty of the colorful flowers and the emerging leaves of an abundance of trees and plants.
The club members met on Thursday, March 27, at the Martin Hall of Trinity Episcopal Church for their monthly meeting.
Members reviewed past projects and had the opportunity of meeting with other community representatives to explore activities to enhance beautifying Yazoo City and Yazoo County. After the business session, the club members enjoyed a delightful lunch that was hosted by Pat Ellis.
The Lintonia Garden Club is affiliated with the National Garden Clubs of America Inc., Deep South Region, and the Garden Clubs of Mississippi Inc., the River Road District.
