Mr. and Mrs. Robert Charles Robinson of Brandon are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Sarah Key to Andrew Walter Burnett, son of Dr. and Mrs. Walter Marshall Burnett of Yazoo City.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Bell Crump, junior, of Schlater and Mr. and Mrs. David E. Robinson of Brandon. The groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Jones of Coffeeville and Rev. Marshall E. Burnett, junior, and the late Lynn Wilson Burnett of Yazoo City.
The bride is a graduate of East Rankin Academy. Miss Robinson is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Leadership. She was a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and a Trent Lott Leadership Institute scholar. She served as President of Delta Gamma sorority and was inducted into the Ole Miss Hall of Fame. Miss Robinson currently is serving as Regional Finance Director for the Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C.
The groom is a graduate of Manchester Academy. Mr. Burnett graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a Master of Business Administration degree. He was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity, the Ole Miss rugby team, and an Associated Student Body Senator. Mr. Burnett is a Health Policy Analyst for the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee of the United States Senate in Washington, D.C.
The couple will exchange vows at five o’clock in the afternoon, Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Shiloh United Methodist Church in Pelahatchie, Mississippi. A reception will follow at the South Warehouse in Jackson, Mississippi.
