Mr. and Mrs. Sean Riley of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Victoria Ashlyn, to Robert Hayden Strickland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sammy Strickland of Madison.
Ashlyn is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Shoemaker of Pelahatchie, Mr. and Mrs. Garland Wright of Brandon, and Mr. and Mrs. James Riley of Pensacola, Florida. Ashlyn is a graduate of St. Joseph Catholic School. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University, where she was a member of Tri Delta Sorority. She is currently employed at St. Dominic Hospital and will be attending the Master’s Program in Cardiovascular Perfusion at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina this fall.
Hayden is the grandson of Mr. William M. Meeks and the late Dot Meeks of Yazoo City, and the late Sam and Mable Strickland of Yazoo City. Hayden graduated from Jackson Preparatory School, where he was a member of the Varsity Baseball team. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Mississippi State University. Hayden is currently employed as a software engineer at The Informatics Applications Group, Inc. in Charleston, South Carolina.
The couple will be wed on June 29, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at The Chapel at Livingston in Flora, Mississippi.
Reverend Joseph Wheat of Highlands Presbyterian Church will officiate the double ring ceremony.
Following the ceremony, a reception will take place at the Chapel.
