The reception was held at Bridlewood of Madison. It had a romantic atmosphere with nude, Blush, and Gold accents on tables, centerpieces of fresh flowers in gold vases alternated with candlelight and eucalyptus garlands. Rustic arch covered with fresh sprays for ceremony with wooden cross behind communion table and draped in blush and gold lace scarves with natural greenery. Focal point of the room was a row of rustic farmhouse tables centered for family seating with candles and garlands and a towering 5 ft. trumpet urn filled with white hydrangeas, curly willow, and assorted greenery.
The Bride's table had a Rose Blush cloth with a white lace overlay with special place settings of His and Hers china dinnerware, decorated with the bride’s bouquet. Her cake was a two tier cake with buttercream frosting, adorned with fresh flowers including red and pink spray roses, hand piping on each layer with the couple's initial "G" in gold as a topper. The Bride's cake was centered with two smaller traditional Mexican tres leches cakes one on each side. Cakes were served with Bride's parents' cake server that was used in their wedding.
The Groom's table was covered in baskets of fresh Mexican pastries including orejas, porquitos, and baskets lined with lace scarves and the table covered with eucalyptus garland and white lights.
The delicious supper was a full meal of smoked turkey and beef brisket along with assorted sides, a coffee bar, and a punch table served by Ubons Barbeque of Yazoo. There was also a cupcake tower of gourmet cupcakes in lemon with a lemon cream frosting with fresh strawberries on top, yellow with chocolate cream frosting, tres leches topped with strawberries, and white almond bridal cupcakes with buttercream frosting and white chocolate pearls.
The couple also participated in a Mexican wedding unity tradition called the Lasso Ceremony. This was performed by the bride’s father and the groom’s special family friends Susan and Jerry McCafferty, who placed the handmade crystal and beaded lasso around the couples’ shoulders, symbolizing the unity of the two with Christ.
The rehearsal dinner was held at Bridlewood of Madison and was hosted by the Groom's parents, Guadalupe and Maria Garcia. Gold tablecloths with fresh greenery and photos of the couple decorated the tables. Guests were individually served plates of chicken cordon bleu, rice, green beans, pasta salad, rolls, and lemon ice box cake.
