Dear Editor,
I, Missionary Patricia Hollins, am so very thankful for my relationship with the Father. Back in 2012, I was given a vision to restart the Yazoo Community Civic Club (YCCC). It has been formed, spearheaded, and ran effectively by Mrs. Leola Dillard for many years. The newly reorganized YCCC is now spearheaded by myself and about eight other adult members.
The main goal of the YCCC is to give our children a sense of belonging by having fun exploring, and doing exciting and educational things. We plan to take some trips and even visit Mrs. Dillard’s house for story time, poetry and more.
Our purpose: We promise to help educated, encourage and inspire the youth of the community while helping to promote and produce productive leaders into this multicultural society.
Our mission is to vow to love support and accept each other at all times. We also vow to respect and encourage others while building a better ME!
I am very appreciative of this position and all that it entails. I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for the vision, Mrs. Dillard for confirming it, and me for accepting it. I am blessed beyond measure. And to All others who have stood behind me, supported me and given encouraging words, thank you.
