Dear Editor
I went to bed last night with the idea of having bacon and eggs for breakfast. The only problem was I had neither one at home.
After fixing my wife's breakfast I set out to the store to get the items I needed. Suddenly my mind changed, and wound I up at McDonalds. I got my food and went and sat by myself. A few minutes later I was joined by a friend, who was black and retired like I am – I will just call him Boss Man. We had a good conversation about things we were both interested in.
By then another friend appeared, we were sitting in a two booth so the other friend, who was white and retired, joined our conversation. He stood as we talked. The Lord and his awesome power was our main topic. We kept on talking about how God uses us, how He appears to us on a daily basic, and how we should recognize when He is speaking to us through other people and things around us.
We talked about how our bodies are a temple for the Lord and our hearts should reflect all that is good and pleasing to Him. We talked about Sundays and why do we wait until then to praise Him openly.
By then my phone rang, and I had to go , but before I left I asked that the white gentlemen call my phone so I will have his number because our conversation was not over.
My question to the public is, “What happened to me on that morning?” Who out there is bold enough to analyze this in your own words in a public letter or email me at
coachstalpes@live.com. I will later give you my interpretation. Why don't we take this as a Bible study question. I really want to know how you feel.
