Dear Editor,
We would like to express our gratitude for the support over the last three days.
It was nice to see familiar faces in the courtroom in Vicksburg this week; such as Mr. Walter Lockhart and Ms. Rosie Thomas.
We appreciate Jamie Patterson spending her days covering Daddy's trial.
We are so grateful for the community praying and for each person who came to sit with us. We are forever thankful to the team who has worked on Daddy's case over the last five years and a special thank you to La'Quisha Gatson and April Jones who works along with the DA because they have loved on us and encouraged us in ways that we will remember for a lifetime. They are family to us and we love and appreciate them so much.
God is doing some amazing things, and we do not want the community to be frustrated with the mistrial.
We believe 100 believe that God’s timing is perfect, and our faith will not waiver. It will only grow stronger.
God has done amazing things over the last five years, and we have learned that under every "speed bump" is a purpose and a plan that radiates Christ, allows us to see our Savior a little clearer, and makes us trust HIM even more.
So don't be discouraged, God is in no way caught off guard, instead be encouraged because HE can do ALL things but FAIL!
