Dear Editor,
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
“For through me your days will be many, and years will be added to your life.” (Proverbs 9:10)
Take a good look around this city for those of you who understand the needs and necessities that go with developing a growing community, one must admit we are not looking too bad.
Of course no matter how good you do there is always room for improvements. We must never forget that. I disagree with the alderman’s opinion to decrease the city's travel. However, a check and balance on such travel is just good business.
If we only did things that are mandatory as the alderman stated, the growth of this community will suffer. The city's department heads have been attending workshops that have been mandatory, and some that were not. I encourage the ones that are not mandatory because it shows the will of an employee and the will of our city leaders to improve this city. With this training and knowledge gained it protects the citizen's investments and the stands in line with what God intended.
