Dear Editor,
I wanted to take this time to thank the people of Yazoo for all of the kindness shown to me and my family after the recent loss of my wife, Juanita.
Words can not express how grateful and touched I was by the many calls, cards, visits, food, and prayers, and how much comfort they provided to me and my family during our time of grief. Juanita loved Yazoo City as greatly as I do and mostly for the warmth and kindness of its wonderful citizens.
Jason, I was particularly moved by your mention of Juanita in your column on September 28th. Thank you.
Ours was truly a happy marriage. Thank you again for all of your continuing thoughts and prayers. We continue to take comfort from them and in the knowledge that Juanita is at home with her Heavenly Father.
