Thank You Yazoo!
As I look back on our community response to the recent spike in deaths by drug overdose, I am filled with gratitude.
Last month you, the people of Yazoo, responded powerfully to the call to PRAY YAZOO! As various Yazoo Leaders led us in prayer to God about our drug problem, we sensed the presence of God.
This past week you again responded overwhelmingly to TELL YAZOO as Andy and Karen Taggart shared their testimony in a powerful way! Again, the presence of the Lord was obvious!
All I can say to this is "Thanks Yazoo!" and, most importantly, "Thanks be to God!"
The next event in our community response to the drug issue will be a town meeting on Wednesday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the same location where our other events have been held: Parkview's sanctuary.
Watch for more details on this great opportunity for our people to collaborate on solutions to our drug issue in Yazoo - as well as to meet people representing various groups, ministries, and organizations already engaged in this fight!
