Dear Editor,
Something is happening in Yazoo City. Pastors and evangelists with international ministries are being attracted to our community, and they are returning again and again.
Most recently Neil Gamble of Father’s Hands Ministries, who teaches and preaches in 22 countries on five continents, returned to Yazoo City and taught at Trinity Church on intimacy with the Father. At that gathering, there were people from over a half a dozen churches. Gamble plans to return next year.
The next international preacher who will be returning to Yazoo City is Bishop Edward Duku of South Africa. He will be leading a revival at Trinity Church, located a 233 N. Main Street, on the evenings of Jan. 8, 9 and 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Bishop Duku has led the citywide revival known as Revive Yazoo the past two years and will do so again in 2016. The revival in 2015 was larger than the one in 2014, and the one planned for 2016 is expected to be even larger.
Something is definitely happening in Yazoo City, and everyone is invited to be a part of it.
Rev. George Woodliff
