Dear Editor,
My congratulations to Command Master Chief Timothy Hardin, U.S. Navy, for his promotion to the highest enlisted rank in the U.S. Navy. With that promotion comes great responsibility.
As a veteran myself, I know that men and women in the armed forces are not promoted to high rank unless they have proven themselves worthy. CMC Hardin, I am sure, is no exception.
I hope CMC Hardin can know that Yazooans, his people, are proud of his accomplishments and wish for him the best as he continues in service of our great nation---a nation that is great because of people like him.
