Dear Editor,
First I want to thank the Lord for Gary Andrews and you. Thanks to Gary for his devotionals and to you for printing them. You both must have a very close relationship with the Lord.
Whether it’s a computer, a typewriter or just a pen in his hand, it seems to me that God is pushing the pen for Gary.
Gary’s words speak to me every time even though he is Baptist and I am Catholic. Of course all denominations who worship God are on a path to the same destination. My mother was Lutheran, and my father was Methodist. I was reared in the Methodist church by my grandmother and aunt who raised me after my mother died when I was only eight years old.
Does it matter? I was reared to love everyone regardless of race, creed or color. The color of someone’s skin does not matter, only the color of their heart.
Gary’s recent devotional about memories was one of my favorites.
Truly,
Vay Gregory McGraw
P.S. I can’t forget about Walter Patterson’s writings. He keeps us informed about what is going on in our melting pot nation.
Thanks Lord, for The Herald.
