Dear Editor,
Hi! My name is Ayden Jones. I am a Boy Scout with Troop 75.
I went to summer camp at Camp Orr in Arkansas. I had to take Communications Merit Badge, which is a requirement for Eagle Scout. I didn’t think I would like it. I thought it would be boring. Out of all the fun badges to do at a summer camp, communications was the best.
I had to give a speech, I had to introduce a guest speaker, and before leaving camp I had to emcee a Court of Honor.
It just goes to show that you need to try new things. You might just like it!
Don’t be afraid to try something new.
