Analee Whitworth hit a three-run triple in the bottom of the fifth inning to help the Lady Mavericks come from behind to defeat Tallulah 10-5 Monday.
Tallulah took a 2-0 lead in the third inning, but Manchester cut it to 3-2 in the fourth. The Lady Mavericks piled on eight runs in the fifth to turn the tables.
Aubree Walton and Whitworth each drove in three runs to help lead their team. Walton also made a diving catch in the outfield that helped stifle Tallulah.
Morgan Foster went 3-for-4 at the plate and had an RBI.
Alley Grace Ables and Embrie Carpenter each had two hits and an RBI.
The win marked Manchester’s 11th straight victory.

It was another great performance by Morgan Foster at the plate as she went 3-for-4 with two RBI in an 11-8 win over Deer Creek.
The Lady Mavericks trailed 7-3 in the third inning, but came back to earn the win.

Claire Stevens had two hits and two RBI, and Molly McBride had two hits.
