Manchester's Ellie Carpenter scored a game-high 20 points and Angel Rae Carpenter chipped in with 14 as the Lady Mavericks coasted to a 55-17 victory over Deer Creek.
Manchester raced out of the gates to a 15-6 first quarter advantage before adding 16 more second quarter points to Deer Creek's three, to take a 31-9 lead at the half. The Lady Mavs continued their dominance in the third quarter, posting a 9-2 advantage before outscoring Deer Creek 15-6 going down the stretch to seal the win.
Following the Carpenters in scoring were Alley Grace Ables with eight, Maggie Day Ragland with four, Avery Austin with three, and Molly McBride, Selah Druey and Aubrey Watson with two points apiece.
In boys' action, the Mavericks improved to 7-5 with a 86-29 victory.
