The Manchester Mavericks remain winless on the season after suffering a 47-0 loss to St. Aloysius in their home opener last Friday.
St. Al charged out of the gate, scoring 21 first quarter points, highlighted by a 63-yard pass and a pair of rushes (10 and five yards).

McGee, Indians roll to 36-12 victory over Cowboys

The Yazoo City Indians pulled something off this past Friday night that they haven’t been able to do in quite some time. They were victorious in their season opener. With a dominant, three-touchdown performance from senior running back Tobias McGee, the Indians cruised to a 36-12 win over the Humphreys County Cowboys.

MA falls to 0-2 after loss

The Manchester Academy Mavericks fell to 0-2 after falling to Carroll Academy last Friday.
Offensively, the Mavericks were led by Joseph Beidleman who had 20 carries for 67 yards and one reception for 30 yards. He was also the leading tackler with 12 tackles.

Columbus Christian routs Rebels 54-34

Putting 34 points on the scoreboard of a football game is normally enough for a victory. Unfortunately for the Benton Academy Raiders, that was not the case this past Friday night as 34 would not be enough in their 54-34 loss to Columbus Christian.
Benton falls to 0-2 on the season with the loss.
