Jacqueline Earl Davis, 55, passed away on Sept. 15, 2025.
A viewing will be held at Scott Funeral Home on Sept. 19 from 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sept. 20 at 11 a.m at Beulah Land Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery.
Jacqueline was born on December 17, 1969 in Yazoo City to Mr. Edward E. Davis and Mrs. Clementine Lamb Davis. Early in life, Jacqueline accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as a member of Beulah Land Baptist Church in Yazoo City, where she served as a member of the choir and pianist for Sunday School.
Jacqueline graduated from Yazoo City High School in 1988. She was a member of the high school band and later joined the band at Holmes Junior College after graduation. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was also an active volunteer with Yazoo City Mass Choir and the Oaks African American and Cultural Center.
She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Earl Davis; and sister, Sharon Denise Davis.
Survivors include her mother, Mrs. Clementine Davis; her sister, Lora Allen (Charles Allen) of Bogue Chitto; brothers, Cornelius Washington (Emma), and Randall Pinkston (Patricia McLain Pinkston) of Teaneck, NJ; and a host of family members and friends.
