The Yazoo City Indians completed the season sweep of cross-county rival Yazoo County last Friday with a 62-47 victory.
The Indians improved to 9-4 on the season while the Panthers fell to 2-10.
Demond Colllum led the way for the Indians with 18 points followed in double figures by Jacorion Taylor with 14, Caleb Crozier with 12 and Jacolby Little with 11.
Other scorers were E’ziren Collum with five, Chris Gates with three, and Keiron Davis and Jahiem Sims with two apiece.
The Indians open district play this week on the road at Greenville Tuesday and host Cleveland Central Friday before the Christmas Holidays.
