Here’s an interesting trend that’s been going on for at least six years: Enrollment in Mississippi public schools continues to decline. Only one year among the last six showed a significant reduction in enrollment. Not surprisingly, it was 2020-21, the first full year after the Covid-19 pandemic shut down schools a few months before.
