The Yazoo Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution held its March 20, 2025 meeting at the Ricks Memorial Library Conference Center.
Sue Patterson, Regent, passed out the 22 reward certificates given to the Yazoo Chapter and members at the MSSDAR State Conference, as well as the Chapter Scrapbook, which won first place.
Priscilla Allen Harper, Recording Secretary, reminded the chapter about the informative articles sent to them by e-mail: President General’s Message, National Defense article, Conservation and the Indian Minute.
The program was given by JoAnne Collins on the 100th Anniversary of the Native American Citizenship Act of 1924, which gave Native Americans the right to vote.
