A Yazoo City man was sentenced to 30 years last Friday for the sexual battery of a four-year-old female victim.
Rondrikous Tubbs was found guilty of sexual battery by a Yazoo County Circuit Court jury. According to District Attorney Akillie Malone-Oliver, the assault involved a four-year-old female.
"According to witness testimony, Tubbs violated the young victim more than once at the family home where Tubbs resided with his parent and siblings," Malone-Oliver said. "Although young, the victim from the initial report of this incident, quickly identified and maintained that Tubbs was the perpetrator of such a horrific act."
Tubbs was sentenced to 30 years, with 25 years to serve and five years suspended, in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. He will also be placed on five years of supervised probation.
Tubbs will receive counseling for Sexual Behavior while in prison and must register as a Sex Offender after his release from incarceration.
