AG Fitch Announces Recent Child Exploitation Sentencing

Today, Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced the sentencing of James Arnold of Oxford, Mississippi. Arnold pleaded guilty to possession of child sexual abuse material. This case was investigated by the Attorney General's Office and the FBI, and prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi.

Investigation continues in Yazoo City’s latest murder

No arrests have been made as the investigation into the recent deadly shooting continues within Yazoo City.
Yazoo County Coroner Ricky Shivers said Abieon Earl Taylor, 20, of Yazoo City, was pronounced dead by Pafford medics on the scene from a gunshot wound.

Two more juveniles charged in Knox murder case

Two more juveniles have been charged with capital murder in connection to the death of Wiltavious Knox, who was murdered on Jackson Avenue earlier this year.
Demontavious Duffie, 14, and Montavious Mayes, 16, have been charged with capital murder, home invasion, robbery, kidnapping and grand larceny.
