I can’t help but wonder if the far-left in this country is deranged. They seem to hate our Constitution because they love government. Government is something they bow down to every day, and consequently, they hate the U.S. Constitution.
The Constitution limits government so naturally, they must attack it without mercy. They hate America. America is the cause of all evil in the world, and therefore, we must pay for our sins.
The free enterprise system must be abandoned, and socialism must be embraced no matter that socialism has failed every time it has been tried.
Wealth must be attacked. These leftists will claim that everything should be equal and that includes your access to goods and services.
Medical treatment should be free, college tuition should be free, transportation should be free or cost very little, everyone must pay for ruining the earth’s climate, so a huge carbon tax must be levied against the people.
Generally speaking, the leftist want everything to be free. The government, in their world, must ensure that everyone is "taken care of"- equally!
These are the types of people who are attacking Donald Trump. Leaks from the White House and from the FBI and "spy" agencies are in full bloom, and the idea is to drive President Trump from office. They would like to impeach him, but as of today, the RINO Republicans have not totally caved. Senator Bob Corker (R-Tennessee) is wavering and waffling, but he may be trying to gather it back up by the time this column runs. He is, in my opinion, out for one person, and that is Bob Corker.
Lindsey Graham and John McCain play their little games, but at crunch time, I think both of them will come to their senses because of their constituents. Both come from states that voted heavily for President Trump, so even though they give no support to our President, I hope, when crunch time comes, they will be supportive of President Trump.
"Cry’in" Chuck Schumer has devolved into another level of insanity. But that is to be expected from a left-wing socialist. He is so far out of touch with the American people that I don’t think he has enough time left in his life span to ever educate himself.
Elizabeth Warren is the face of the Democrat Party, and this is fine with me. She is from liberal Massachusetts, and I think the American people already have her number.
Both of these socialists are calling for an independent investigation into whether or not the Trump Administration colluded with Russia. Remember, this investigation has been going on since last July, eleven months. Nothing has been revealed other than in the book "Shattered", two reporters detail how Hillary lost and then had to blame her humiliating defeat on someone.
The Russians were a convenient source, and her immoral and unethical stooges invented the narrative the mainstream media pushes every day. There is absolutely no proof that Trump or anyone in his administration colluded with the Russians - none. I am getting tired of the mainstream press telling lies and blaming Russia for Hillary’s defeat. Besides, I don’t think the Russians hacked the Democrat Party’s computers. The evidence is beginning to mount that it was an inside job by one of the staffers who transmitted over 40,000 e-mails to Wikileaks. Then he was murdered.
I have a suggestion for our weak-kneed Republicans in the House and Senate. Let’s investigate something important. I suggest "Bigfoot." There is more evidence that "Bigfoot" exists than the Russians turned the election for Trump. We could have hearings in both the Senate and the House, and committee members could ask hard questions and demand evidence in the forms of e-mails, recording, videos, notes, and anecdotal data. These hearing may go on for years, and at no time will they cast doubts on our President.
It is past time that the Republicans step up to the plate and defend Donald Trump, and that includes Senators Cochran and Wicker.
