President Trump has a talent for driving the left crazy.
Take Chris Cillizza, the editor-at-large for CNN. He has taken the plunge into insanity by attempting to analyze one of the President’s tweets. He writes as though he is a Ph.D. psychologist interpreting a man he knows nothing about.
His article is titled "Donald Trump’s LaVar Ball tweets cross a line–even for him." Cillizza falls back on the old Democrat standard, "Trump is a racist!" The Democrats in their panic have used this term to the extent that it is no longer effective. Cillizza uses it not to influence any of his readers, but to influence his peers. If he can hate President Trump sufficiently, he will be applauded and accepted by his left-wing coharts.
But to President Trump’s tweet. LaVar Ball, the father of a young man who was accused of shoplifting while in China, was very critical of the President, saying in an interview that he had people on the ground in China working to free his son, and the President had nothing to do with his son being allowed to fly back to the United States. In China, shoplifting is a serious offense punishable by up to 10 years in prison. The Chinese take stealing much more seriously than Americans do, so LaVar Ball, it seems, had no understanding of the trouble his son was in. The President stepped in and called the Chinese President, who has unlimited power, by the way, and prevailed on him to free Ball’s basketball playing son.
Any normal person, no matter if they liked the President or not, would have been thankful that the President made the call to free LiAnglo Ball and two other UCLA basketball players. But no, LaVar Ball showed no gratitude to the President nor did he thank him publically. So President Trump tweeted the following: "It wasn’t the White House, it wasn’t the State Department, it wasn’t father LaVar’s so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence - it was me. Too Bad! LaVar is just a poor man’s version of Don King, but without the hair. Just think LaVar, you could have spent the next 5 to 10 years during Thanksgiving with your son in China, but no NBA contract to support you. But remember LaVar, shoplifting is not a little thing. It’s a really big deal, especially in China. Ungrateful fool."
Can I hear an AMEN? Of course, the left-wingers are going crazy. Everything that the President does is, to them, beneath the office of the President. But we now have a leader in the White House who confronts problems - and ungrateful idiots, head on. We haven’t seen this type of leadership in my lifetime, and for all of those who think President Trump should stop tweeting, I say no! Calm down and enjoy the ride. Many of his tweets are extremely funny. For example, a couple of weeks ago he tweeted, "Why would Kim Jong- un call me old? I would never call him short and fat."
For years, most of us who are conservative wished for -prayed for- someone in the Republican Party to fight back against all of the corruption brought upon us by the Democrat Party. No one arrived on the scene with a fighter’s instinct, someone who would take on all comers, someone with the skill and wisdom to "drain the swamp." Then, Trump appeared. The press has attempted to destroy him, but the media did not create Donald Trump and it cannot destroy him. As he gets more and more important bills passed, which he will, I predict that the American people will embrace him more and more. The "swamp" is beginning to regurgitate some of the corrupt people living there, and most of them are Democrats. None of this would have happened if "Crooked Hillary" had been elected. As Christmas nears, I’m beginning to get that warm, fuzzy feeling once again because I think that the swamp is going to belch out many more corrupt Democrats, thanks to President Trump.
Did I mention that he is a fighter?
