Evelyn Maxine Douglas, 86, died Sept. 4, 2020 at her home in Bentonia.
Funeral services are Saturday at 3 p.m. at Concord Cemetery with Rev. Steven Howell officiating.
Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Douglas residence at 7420 Anding-Oil City Road.
Mrs. Douglas was born January 26, 1934 in Yazoo County to George and Lida Harrell Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of Anding Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lee Douglas.
Survivors include four daughters, Brenda Martin, Sue Hughes and Mary Hancock, all of Bentonia, and Renee Ward of Yazoo City; three brothers, Harrell Smith of Vaughan, Billy Smith of Yazoo City and Don Smith of Ridgeland; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are A.J. Saxton, Jordan Ward, Taylor Nash, Kirk Douglas, Ty Saxton, Glenn Alan Kettrell, Hunter Douglas and Cody Majors.
Honorary pallbearers are James Douglas, Dee Martin, Joey Hancock, Bud Cresswell, Ellis Douglas, Paul Dozier, Steve Cheatham and Emerson Tyson.
