The Benton Academy Raiders and Lady Raiders split against Newton Academy as the Lady Raiders picked up a 50-29 victory, and the Raiders dropped a heartbreaker, 64-62.

BA senior Brynn Blackstock narrowily missed a triple-double in the win registering 14 points, 10 steals and eight rebounds.
Leta Greco chipped in with 11 points, Emma Middleton had eight, and Audrie Horne had seven points and three blocks.
Other Lady Raider scorers were Ava Grace Meeks and Sydnie Davis with three apiece and Addy Cader and Annalise Pierce each with two.

The trio of Ethan Shanks (20 points), Peyton McGlawn (17 points) and Tanner Vandevere (11 points) led the Raiders in scoring in the two-point loss to Newton.
Aiden Arnold chipped in with eight and Clayton Saxton added six.
McGlawn also had a double-double with 11 rebounds, as did Vandevere with 10 rebounds and five steals.
