The Benton Academy Raiders and Lady Raiders split a pair of contests last week, going 2-0 against Mt. Salus and 1-1 against St. Aloysius.
The Lady Raiders defeated Mt. Salus 54-17 and St. Aloysius, 63-28.
The Raiders posted an 82-50 win over Mt. Salus before falling to St. Aloysius 68-51.
The Lady Raiders are now 11-3 while the Raiders sit at 1-5.

BA senior Brynn Blackstock had as many points (17) as the entire Mt. Salus team while leading the Lady Raiders to the 37-point victory.
She also had eight rebounds and five steals.
Emma Middleton was second in scoring with nine, followed by Maci Lowery with seven, Leta Greco with five, Sydnie Davis, Audrie Horne and Ava Grace Meeks with four apiece, and Addy Cader and Ana Paige Beith with two apiece.

Three Lady Raiders reached double figures in the win over St. Al with Blackstock leading the way with a game-high 25 points.
Lowery pitched in with 13, and Leta Greco added 11.
Horne was next with five and Cader, Beith, and Middleton each scored three.
Horne’s five rebounds was a team-best as was Lowery’ six assists and Blackstock’s four steals.
Blackstock hoped to reach a milestone during Benton’s home contest against Porter’s Chapel as she is just 17 points away from 2,000 career points.

Mt. Salus 50
Tanner Vandevere erupted for a career-high 27 points in the lopsided win over Mt. Salus.
Clayton Saxton added 19 points and Peyton McGlawn had 10 to round out the double digit scorers.
Aiden Arnold and Ethan Shanks each had eight, and Riley Powell and Gabe Irwin had five apiece.
