The Benton Academy Lady Raiders defeated St. Aloysius Academy 60-25 heading into the Thanksgiving Break.
The Lady Raiders were coming off a 52-14 loss to Jackson Academy and a 53-22 victory over Humphreys Academy.
Against St. Aloysius, Benton was led in double figures by Brynn Blackstock (14 points) and Leta Greco (12 points). Greco also recorded a double-double with 10 rebounds.
Maci Lowery chipped in with nine, Emma Middleton had eight, Sydnie Davis had six, Ava Grace Meeks had four, Ana Paige Beith had three, and Audrie Horne and Annalise Turner each had two.
Benton didn’t fare as well against top-ranked JA as not one Lady Raider was able to reach double figures.
Blackstock scored seven, Meeks had five and Perry Kate Kraft added two.
In the win over Humphreys, three Lady Raiders reached double figures as Greco (13 points), Blackstock (11 points), and Middleton (10 points) led the way. Other scorers were Lowery with eight, Addy Cader with six, Meeks with four, and Horne with two.
The Lady Raiders return to action December 1 when they travel to Central Holmes.
