Yazoo County High School’s own Will Andrews has earned a spot in the State Golf Match after delivering an outstanding performance at the regional qualifier. Andrews shot an impressive 79 individually, securing his qualification among the top competitors in the state.
Known for his consistency and calm demeanor under pressure, Andrews has become a standout leader for the Panther Golf Team this season. His dedication to improving his game through practice and discipline has not gone unnoticed by coaches and teammates alike.
“Will’s focus and determination truly set him apart,” said Coach Randall. “Shooting a 79 in a competitive setting is no easy feat, and we’re incredibly proud of him.”
Andrews will represent Yazoo County High School at the upcoming State Golf Match, where he will compete against some of the best high school golfers from across Mississippi. The entire Panther community extends congratulations and best wishes as he prepares to showcase his talent on the state stage.
