Jimmy Clifton Woods, 76, of Yazoo City passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Woods worked in Highway Maintenance for The Mississippi Department of Transportation and was a member of Scotland Baptist Church.

Sherry Abels, 63, died March 31, 2019 at the University Nursing Center in Durant.  Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Coxburg Methodist Church in Coxburg, MS.  A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in the church cemetery.







George Anderson Davis

George Anderson Davis, 87, of Benton went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 .

A lifelong resident of Yazoo County, he was born on January 31, 1932.  He had retired from Yazoo Valley Electric Power Association after 30 years of service.
