What is a Christmas Miracle made of?

The suspect in the murder of Yazoo business owner Ricky Saxton unexpectedly rejected a plea deal in court Friday morning.

Local students have been working hard to prepare for a special Christmas presentation next Thursday.

Annette Pennington Fouche’ passed away December 4, 2018 in Jackson, MS at St. Dominic Hospital. Public visitation will be 11am until 1pm Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Century Funeral Home; 727 Webster Avenue in Yazoo City, MS.  Homegoing services will be 2 p.m.


Joyce B. Davis

Joyce B. Davis, 79, of Yazoo City passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at The Baptist Medical Center Yazoo.

She was a homemaker and a member of Midway Baptist Church.



Marvin Terrell

Marvin Terrell, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital.  He died as he had lived-with dignity, courage, and love for his friends, family, and the Ole Miss Rebels.




Mona Faye Cox

Mona Faye Cox, 84, died Nov. 22, 2018 at her home in Newport Richey, Fla.

Funeral services are Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Glenwood Cemetery. Burial will follow under the direction of Stricklin-King Funeral Home.
