Boy Scout Troop 75 recently held their fall Court of Honor at First United Methodist Church. Reed Miller, Herman Green, and Michael Dunn earned several merit badges at Warren A Hood Boy Scout Reservation over the summer.

The picturesque landscape of Africa is intertwined with settlements of shacks made of wood, cardboard, tin and other scrap material. It is a squatter camp, scattered with families living together in a shack no larger than a garden shed.

Tri-County defeated River Oaks 28-0 Friday night in Monroe, La. The Rebels defense was stout, giving up only 51 total yards. The offense was led by Greyson Smith, Cade Shepard and Trace White.





Patricia Rutland

Patricia Rutland, 75, of Flora passed away at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital Saturday, September 22, 2018.

A homemaker, she was of the Baptist faith.



Taylor Ryan Stevens

Taylor Ryan Stevens, 17, of Bentonia passed away Saturday September 22, 2018 at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was employed in husbandry and of the Baptist faith.








Hayden Tyler Whitworth

Hayden Tyler Whitworth, 18, of Yazoo City died Friday, September 21, 2018.

Services will be held at First Baptist Church Monday, September 24 with visitation starting at noon until the 2 p.m. service. Burial will follow in the Whitworth Family Cemetery.
