Inez B. Clark

Mrs. Inez B. Clark, 91, of Winona passed away at Winona Manor in Winona on Tuesday, May 28.  She was born in Sunflower County on the banks of the Sunflower River on February 27, 1928, to Ingram and Lena Phillips Bailey.  She was a retired hairdresser and a Baptist.


Mary Frances King

Mary Frances King, 83, of Benton died at her residence Sunday May 26, 2019.

Mrs. King was born March 10, 1936 in Yazoo City to Adin Victor and Molly Elizabeth Jones Pharr. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Yazoo City.



Dudley George Norman Jr.

Dudley George Norman Jr. peacefully passed away at his home in Houston, TX on April 25, 2019 surrounded by his current wife, Mary, and sons Dana and Stuart.  He succumbed  from respiratory failure due to pulmonary fibrosis.







Calvin "Pony" Owens

Calvin Donald Owens, widely known as “Pony,” was born in rural Yazoo County, Mississippi on October 4, 1950.  Followed by a brief illness and surrounded by close family members, he departed this life in the early morning on Mother’s Day - Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his residence
